Calatrava is located in the north area of Negros Occidental. It is a town facing the Cebu Island.  You can literally see the island when the skies are clear.  This particular place is a private area where my grandmother lives, all her life.  It offers a humble beach, caves, mangrove areas where the fishes live, Native bags and accessories, and if you have the energy you can also trek for a beautiful spread of mountain view.

Calatrava is underrated compared to the other beaches Negros Island has to offer.  But if you  are looking for peace and quiet, this would definitely do.  This place offered me the best sunrises of life, especially the ones I spent inside the tent.
