dumaguete

The Capital City of Negros Oriental known for its Boulevard and the beaches near it. I’ve visited Dumaguete for a couple of times and it always makes you feel welcome everytime. The simple lifestyle of the people and I don’t really know but it seems like everywhere I look there would be a foreigner. The food are student-friendly since it’s also known for the best universities in the Oriental. There are a lot of delicacies to choose from and bring home the Silvanas, the line will be worth the wait.

Dauin is a town 30 –minute away from Duma, it’s a marine sanctuary, and for a couple of hundreds you can enjoy snorkeling and you can see Nemo and all the other school of fishes without a boat ride. It just on the Beach area.  The thing I like is that you wouldn’t really think of Dauin that much, but it offers a lot more than historical churches and the wonder below the water. Seriously, I haven’t seem that much fishes in my life than I did in Dauin. Across Dauin is the famous Apo Island, I haven’t been there yet, so it’s on my list.

Antulang Beach Resort is also a place to be, although costly and you’ll really have to time it with a good weather. It has a 10ft pool perfect for practice divers, but I didn’t had the guts to reach the bottom of the pool. I don’t like it when I can’t see things. And that pool gave me the chills and a little claustrophobic. I mean I can float on top and swim back and forth but even if you pay me, I’d rather do it in the real deep sea. They also have this Greece-ish path beside the rocky beachside.  I didn’t had the chance to swim at the beach or jump any cliffs that time because it was on a low-tide, but I have no regrets.
